Rodney Quiggin is a Solicitor at Backhouse Legal working primarily in litigation and dispute resolution in the ACT, NSW and Federal Courts.
As a Canberran born and bred, Rodney has grown up in the Canberra region and is familiar with issues specific to the local community. After finishing school in Canberra Rodney relocated to Wollongong to study his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Wollongong. Rodney completed his Practical Legal Training at the Australian National University and is admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. He is currently studying a Masters of Legal Practice at the Australian National University and is the 2016-2017 New South Wales Young Lawyers Regional Delegate for the Southern Tablelands.
Prior to commencing with Backhouse Legal Rodney worked as a lawyer in a large regional firm in Wollongong, gaining extensive experience in personal injury litigation, criminal law, employment law and advocacy, before moving back to Canberra in late 2016.
